- Baguettes: I used half-baguettes for this recipe. They’re shorter than regular baguettes but wide enough to hold all the delicious toppings.
- Olive oil: To brush on the bread.
- Pizza sauce: Or use marinara sauce.
- Mozzarella cheese: You can use pre-shredded for convenience but fresh shredded works best.
- Pepperoni: I used mini but regular pepperoni works too.
How to Make French Bread Pizza In Air Fryer
*Scroll down for the printable recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.
Step 1: Cut the French bread or half baguette in two and cut in half lengthwise.
Step 2: Brush with olive oil on each open face and sprinkle some oregano if you prefer.
Step 3: Place the bread in the air fryer and toast it at 375˚F for 3 minutes. This will make the bread nice and crispy.
Step 4: Top each bread with pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and sliced pepperoni or any other toppings.
Step 5: Air fry pizza at 375˚F for 3 to 4 minutes until the cheese is melted to your liking. Remove from air fryer with tongs and serve warm.
Top Tips for French Bread Pizza
- Use a light layer of pizza sauce to keep the bread crispy as too much sauce can make it soggy.
- Air fry the French bread first before adding the toppings for an extra crust.
- Shredding your mozzarella cheese creates a creamier texture than buying a pre-shredded cheese.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer and cook in batches for a crispier crust.

Notes
